The Invergordon Service Base was constructed in the 1980s and is owned and operated by the Cromarty Firth Port Authority (Port of Cromarty Firth). Major tenants include offshore fabrication, logistics support and vessel agencies.
Port Facilities
There are 350 metres alongside the quay plus a further 145 metres of
wet dock quay. In addition Quay West has 372m quay and 110,000sqm
laydown area at 12m draft.
Facilities include 43,600m2 of storage and fabrication land, 10,000m2
of quay area and 6,300m2of car parking. The entire site is secured
under the ISPS code and has full CCTV coverage with security staff on
site 24 hours a day. There are dedicated vessel bunkering facilities,
transit sheds, modern weighbridge provision and project office
accommodation.
